After getting extensive feedback from companies seeking a business process automation solution, a regulatory compliance solution, and working with consultants in the compliance arena, Compliancy developed their solution to fulfill on the following principles:

From the beginning, Compliancy focused on building a solution that would enable small and mid-market companies to start up easily and fast with non-technical resources, reduce their entry level costs and reduce their costs of sustaining and expansion.

In the initial development, Compliancy Software started with the highly successful Ultimus BPM engine as its baseline to provide the business process management capabilities.  On top of this engine, Compliancy took a focused approach to building an application specialized for meeting Sartbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements internal controls using process templates and customizable forms for flexibility.

Compliancy then generalized the built-in controls to be enabled for any business process thus creating the unique and more effective GRC Plus solution.
