From the beginning, Compliancy focused on building a solution that would enable small and mid-market companies to start up easily and fast with non-technical resources, reduce their entry level costs and reduce their costs of sustaining and expansion.

In the initial development, Compliancy Software started with the highly successful Ulitmus BPM engine as its baseline to provide the business process management capabilities.  On top of this engine, Compliancy took a focused approach to building an application specialized for meeting Sartbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements using process templates and customizable forms for flexibility.
